SOCIAL, FAMILY & LOCAL HISTORY

We continue to meet at Sandy Bay bar on Tuesdays, every 4 weeks. We arrive from 9.30am for coffee, with a prompt start at 10.00 to finish around 11.00. Returning and new members are always welcome.

Next meetings:

13th October: Ros on the Cutler Family of West London in the 19th Century. Please come and support Ros for this much-anticipated talk.

10th November: Me on Hi-de-Hi! and the British love of holiday camps.

8th December: Me on the Christmas theme. This time I thought I would look at the standard fare of Christmas TV, when everyone sat down to watch the specials, a tradition dying out.

Paul.
